Marie died in 1957.3 Interred in the Beeler Station Christian Church Cemetery, Rt. 250, Marshall County, West Virginia, her name appears on the gravestone as "Marie McCosh Stewart." The stone is shared with her husband, Jesse.3

John's first marriage was to Eliza Taylor on 22 February 1860 in Marshall County, Virginia. W. J. Alexander certified that he united the couple in marriage.4

His second marriage was to Mary J. Mundell, daughter of Owen J. Aston and Mary Creighten, on 12 March 1869 at Moundsville, Marshall County, West Virginia. J. F. Woods certified that he united the couple in marriage at Elijah Clegg's home; both were widowed.1 At the time of their marriage, John was a farmer, residing in Harrison County, Ohio; Mary was living in Marshall County, West Virginia.1

John died in 1906.3 Interred in the Park Cemetery, Garrettsville, Portage County, Ohio, his name appears on the gravestone as "John Love." Plot: Sec I, row 04. A single gravestone was used for John, his wife, Mary J., their son, George W., and daughter-in-law, Dessie H.3
