  1. His first initial may be an "F" instead of a "T" per Ancestry.com's transcription of the 1870 federal census. When I compared it to other names written by the enumerator that obviously contained a "T", I decided that Henry's initial was a "T" and have yet to find an official document to convince me otherwise.

Francis Six

ID#2430, b. 8 November 1835, d. 7 August 1910
Parents: Adam Six and Jane (unknown.)1

Birth date: 8 November 1835.2,3
Birth place: Virginia.4,5 It has also been reported that Francis was born in Greene County, Pennsylvania.6

Francis married Henry Church, son of Henry Church and Ann "Nancy" Goddard, in 1852 (based on report of 48 years married on the 1900 U.S. census.)5

At age 74, Francis died on 7 August 1910.2 Interred in the Butcher Cemetery, Wetzel County, West Virginia, her name appears on the gravestone as "Francis Church." An additional inscription reads, "Born Nov 8 1835, Died Aug 7 1910." Dates are not ironclad as they are hard to read in the photo - in fact, I have seen other transcriptions that show her birth date as Nov 6, 1836.2
