Helen's first marriage was to an unidentified person (either unknown or still living) on 24 December 1953 at Moundsville, Marshall County, West Virginia. Samuel M. Zonker, a Minister of the Reorg. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, certified that he united them in marriage.3

She became a widow at age 25 when Leroy died on 5 February 1960.3

Helen died in 2006.2 Helen's body was interred in the Nauvoo Ridge LDS Cemetery, Nauvoo Ridge, Marshall County, West Virginia; her name appears on the gravestone as "Helen Dobbs/Helen Leek Henry." There is a stone that appears to be hand-painted with the name "Helen Dobbs" and the dates of her birth and death (mostly obscured by flowers); a small funeral home marker is next to the stone and reads, "Helen Leek Henry, 1934 - 2006".4
