Clarence died at age 7 on 13 October 1904 at Rosby's Rock, Marshall County, West Virginia. According to the official Register of Deaths, he died after ten days of bowel trouble.2 Clarence's body was interred on 15 October 1904 in the Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Fork Ridge Road, Moundsville, Marshall County, West Virginia; his name appears on the gravestone as "Clarence E. Aston."2
