Anderson married Ida Marie Robinson on 16 September 1922 at Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia. L. S. Grose, Pastor of the Zane St. M. E. Church, certified that he united them in marriage.5

Anderson died at age 67 on 7 August 1956. The year is shown as 1856, which is obviously a typographical error.4
