Benjamin died at age 82 on 9 December 1962 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, Marshall County, West Virginia.2 Benjamin's body was interred on 11 December 1962 in the Fork Ridge Universalist Church Cemetery, Fork Ridge Road, Glen Easton, Marshall County, West Virginia. His name reportedly appears on the gravestone as "Benjamin Terrill."2,4
