Birth place: Marshall County, West Virginia.3

According to the obituary of her daughter, Frances, she was apparently also known as Maude.4

Roberta married Benjamin T. "Ben" Terrill, son of Thomas Sherman Terrill and Agnes Harris, on 3 November 1900 in Marshall County, West Virginia. George Franklin certified that he united them in marriage at his residence.3

Roberta died at age 74 on 7 June 1957 at RD#1, Waynesburg Pike, Marshall County, West Virginia.2 Bertie's body was interred on 10 June 1957 in the Fork Ridge Universalist Church Cemetery, Fork Ridge Road, Glen Easton, Marshall County, West Virginia. Her name reportedly appears on the gravestone as "Birdie J. Terrill."2
