On 14 March 1950 in Marshall County, West Virginia, Francis applied for a marriage license with Arthur Bonar.3

Frances married Arthur C. Bonar on 18 March 1950 at Moundsville, Marshall County, West Virginia. The ceremony was officiated by Joseph A. King, a minister in the Baptist Church.3

Frances died at age 84 on 6 March 2011 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, Marshall County, West Virginia.1

"Bonar, Frances L., 84, of Moundsville, died Sunday, March 06, 2011 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale.

She was born October 9, 1926 in Moundsville, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Maude "Bertie" Dunlap Terrill.

She was a Protestant by faith, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Marshall County Historical Society, a garden club, and loved genealogy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur C. Bonar; two brothers Sherman and Daniel Terrill; three sisters Naoma Terrill McClelland, Agnes Terrill Schrader, and Hazel Terrill West.

Survivors include two daughters Ann (James) Ebersole of Martinsburg, WV and Alta Bonar of Moundsville; special friend Carrie Fonner; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved pets Binney, Holly, and Tigger.

Family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00am.

Interment in Fork Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Cameron, WV.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall County Animal Shelter, RD 5, Box 210, Moundsville, WV 26041"
