James married Sarah May Collins, daughter of William S. Collins and Alice Wilhelm, on 14 March 1911 at Clarksburg, Harrison County, West Virginia. J. E. Bird, a Minister of the Gospel, certified that he united them in marriage.3 Beebe was located on what is now Rt. 59; in those days it was a stage coach stop near Pumpkin Creek. James died in March 1966 in Marshall County, West Virginia.5
