Mary died at age 84 on 29 March 1986.2 Mary's body was interred in the Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Fork Ridge Road, Moundsville, Marshall County, West Virginia; her name appears on the gravestone as "Mary D. Ferrell."2
