Hannah died on 8 September 1872.2 Interred in the Hundred United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hundred, Wetzel County, West Virginia, her name appears on the gravestone as "Hannah Church". An additional inscription reads, "Aged 69 Ys 6 Ms 9 Ds."2
