William Clark Church1

ID#2054, b. about 1776, d. about 1872
Father: Henry "Old Hundred" Church.1
Mother: Hannah Keine.1

Birth date: about 1776.2,3 It has also been reported that William was born about 17724,5 and about 1782.1
Birth place: Pennsylvania.2,53 One researcher has also reported that he was born in Ohio County, Virginia.1 Perhaps the explanation lies in the disputed boundaries between Pennsylvania and Virginia in the 1700s when part of Ohio County was in what is now Pennsylvania.

William's first marriage was reportedly to Sally Cohen.1

His second marriage was to Elizabeth Johns on 3 April 1828 in Pendleton County, Virginia.6

Although entirely unconfirmed, it is possible that William died circa 1872. I have read that he lived to be 96 years old, which may or may not be accurate. However, IF I have selected the correct birth year of 1776, and IF he did live to be 96, that would equate to death in 1872. As this is entirely conjecture at this point, it should not be treated as a fact but merely as a research idea.
