Samuel Clark1

ID#2229, b. about 1801
Father: not yet identified.
Mother: not yet identified.

Birth date: about 18011, although it has also been suggested that he was born circa 1805.2

Birth place: probably the Northwest Territory (now Ohio).1,2,3 However, Samuel's correct birth info is made murkier when two more sources are added into the mix. A Kansas state census indicates that Samuel was born around 1800 in Ireland, the same country where both of his parents were allegedly born.4 Offset that against an Iowa state census indicating that he was born around 1808 in Pennsylvania.5

Samuel married Jane A. (unknown).1
