Nancy married John Washington Harris, son of Uriah Harris and Mary Ann Lydick, on 27 February 1873 at her father's home in Marshall County, West Virginia. John Alley certified that he united them in marriage.1

Nancy died at age 65 from paraletic stroke on 1 January 1915 at Fork Ridge, Marshall County, West Virginia.4 Nancy's body was interred in the Fork Ridge Universalist Church Cemetery, Fork Ridge Road, Glen Easton, Marshall County, West Virginia; her name appears on the gravestone as "Nancy B. Harris." The inscription reads, "John W. Harris ~ Nancy B. his wife ~ At Rest."5
