Mary married Uriah Sheridan Harris, son of Uriah Harris and Mary Ann Lydick, on 28 June 1891 at Limestone, Marshall County, West Virginia. Jacob Ruble, Minister of the Gospel, certified that he united them in marriage. Note that the groom's name is given as Sheridan Harris on the marriage record.6

Mary died from coronary occlusion on 30 June 1934 in Cameron, Marshall County, West Virginia. At.4 Mary's body was interred in the Fork Ridge Christian Church Cemetery, 8681 Fork Ridge Road, Glen Easton, Marshall County, West Virginia; her name appears on the gravestone as "Mary E. Harris."1
