Mary died on 17 August 1916.5,6 Mary's body was interred in the Fork Ridge Christian Church Cemetery, 8681 Fork Ridge Road, Glen Easton, Marshall County, West Virginia; her name appears on the gravestone as "Mary B. Harris." The inscription reads, "O. L. Harris and Mary B. his wife."5
