Isaac died at age 83 on 1 December 1957 in R.D. 1, Glen Easton, Marshall County, West Virginia. He died from a cerebral hemorrhage due to hypertensive cardiovascular disease (high blood pressure.)3 Isaac's body was interred on 4 December 1957 in the Salem Church of Christ Cemetery, Bowman Ridge, Glen Easton, Marshall County, West Virginia; his name appears on the gravestone as "Isaac Elmer Harris (Father) and Mary Ellen Harris (Mother)."3,4
