Charles and Ollie Harris obtained a marriage license on 12 June 1894 in Moundsville, Marshall County, West Virginia.3 They were married by C. W. Upton on 14 June 1894 Cameron, Marshall County, West Virginia. Although the marriage records state that Ollie's age was 18, she was actually a little over three months shy of turning 18.3

On 31 July 1945 at age 74, Charles died at home (716 Second Street, Moundsville, Marshall County, West Virginia) from a cerebral hemorrhage.1 Charles's body was interred on 3 August 1945 in the Fork Ridge Christian Church Cemetery, 8681 Fork Ridge Road, Glen Easton, Marshall County, West Virginia; his name appears on the gravestone as "Charles Stewart."1,4
