Clarence married Leona B. Harris, daughter of Oscar Leslie "Bones" Harris and Mary Bane Cummins, on 5 February 1922 at Glen Easton, Marshall County, West Virginia. James Craig certified that he united them in marriage.3

Clarence died in 1989.2 Clarence's body was interred in the Nauvoo Ridge LDS Cemetery, Nauvoo Ridge, Marshall County, West Virginia; his name appears on the gravestone as "Clarence W. Dobbs."2
