It has also been reported that Elizabeth was born about 1835.3 As a further complication, her husband William reported in his Civil War pension paperwork that she was born 13 January 1836 as recorded "in the family bible."4

Another spelling of her given name is Elisebeth.5

Elizabeth married William S. "Bill" Church, son of Samuel Church and Sarah Elizabeth Anderson, on 27 December 1861 in Greene County, Pennsylvania.7 It has also been reported that Elizabeth and William were married on 29 December 1859.8

Elizabeth died at age 79 from tuberculosis on 29 April 1911 in Calhoun County, West Virginia.9 Elizabeth's body was interred in the Mt. Zion United Methodist Cemetery, Mt. Zion, Calhoun County, West Virginia.10
