Enoch married Maud Adams, daughter of Thomas Adams and Virginia Ward, on 4 September 1904 in Calhoun County, West Virginia. M. L. Sovil was the officiating minister at the ceremony, which was held at his house.7,5

He became a widower at age 61 when Maud died on 30 May 1940.8

Enoch died at age 75 from congestive heart failure on 3 August 1954 in Beverly, Randolph County, West Virginia. He had been treated for heart problems for two years prior to his death.3 Enoch's body was interred on 6 August 1954 in the Hazelwood Cemetery, Elkins, Randolph County, West Virginia.3
