Mary Virginia "Jennie" Bradley1,2

ID#428, b. 18 March 1861, d. 4 September 1932
Father: Jackson Bradley
Mother: Mary V. McDiffett/McDeffett3,4

Birth date: 18 March 1861
Birth place: (West) Virginia.3,2,5,6

Mary married Samuel C. Church, son of William S. "Bill" Church and Elizabeth Jane "Betsy" Roberts, on 20 March 1881 in Wetzel County, West Virginia.1

Jennie died at age 71 from myocarditis on 4 September 1932 at Littleton, Wetzel County, West Virginia.3

Her body was interred on 6 September 1932 in the Robinson Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery, Knob Fork, Wetzel County, West Virginia. Interestingly, all of the preprinted dates on Jennie's death certificate appeared as "192__" and the "2" was written over to make it a "3" for all dates except the burial date. Wetzel County must have either ordered way too many preprinted forms or else they experienced a marked decrease in deaths!3,2 According to Jennie's gravestone, she died in 1938, the same year as her husband. However, as this is not supported by her death certificate, it must be incorrect.2
