Birth date: 2 April 1836.1 It has also been reported that Louisa was born in April 1837.2

Louisa married Arthur McGary, son of William McGary and Sarah (unknown), on 14 November 1854 in Belmont County, Ohio. Wm. Lucas, J.P., certified that he united them in marriage.4

Louisa died at age 90 from "paralysis central" on 28 May 1926 at Fork Ridge, Marshall County, West Virginia. Her death certificate recorded her name incorrectly as Eliza McGary.1 Louisa's body was interred on 31 May 1926 in the Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Fork Ridge Road, Moundsville, Marshall County, West Virginia; her name appears on the gravestone as "Louisa McGary."1,5
