Mary married James Mundle, son of John Mundle and Jane (unknown), on 11 December 1855 in Marshall County, Virginia. James Jefferson certified that he united them in marriage.3

She became a widow when James died on 17 September 1866.5

The spelling of her first husband's surname has been seen as Mundle as well as Mundell, which is the spelling that appears on her second marriage record.1

Her second marriage was to John Love on 12 March 1869 at Moundsville, Marshall County, West Virginia. J. F. Woods certified that he united the couple in marriage at Elijah Clegg's home; both were widowed.1

Mary died in 1908.7 Interred in the Park Cemetery, Garrettsville, Portage County, Ohio, her name appears on the gravestone as "Mary J. Love". Plot: Sec I, row 04. A single gravestone was used for Mary, her husband, John, their son, George W., and daughter-in-law, Dessie H.7
