Catharine married Joseph Aston, son of Owen J. Aston and Mary Creighten, on 4 October 1866 in Marshall County, West Virginia. R. M. Wallace certified that he united them in marriage.5,6

Kate died at age 54 on 3 December 1901.3 Kate's body was interred in the Fairlawn Cemetery, 2700 N. Shartel Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.3
