On 29 July 1925, Mary married Joseph M. Aston, son of Charles Gibson Aston and Cancedella "Della" McGary, Moundsville, Marshall County, West Virginia. James B. Smith certified that he united them in marriage.4

On 25 July 1983 at age 80, Mary died at home (Fork Ridge, Glen Easton, Marshall County, West Virginia.)5 Mary's body was interred on 28 July 1983 in the Fork Ridge Christian Church Cemetery, 8681 Fork Ridge Road, Glen Easton, Marshall County, West Virginia; her name appears on the gravestone as "Mary G. Aston." The inscription reads, "From the branch of life, three leaves have fallen." There is one gravestone for Mary, her husband Joe, and their daughter Judy.5,6
