Louis married Emma Elizabeth Dakan, daughter of William Dakan and Martha Davis, about 1877.5

Louis was a glass blower.1

At age 82, Louis died on 25 June 1933 at Ohio Valley General Hospital, Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia.1 He was interred on 28 June 1933 in the Greenwood Cemetery, 1526 National Road, Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia.1
