Jeremiah Church1
ID#2731, b. 14 February 1845, d. 23 February 1936
Father: William Clark Church.2
Mother: Elizabeth Johns.2,3
Birth date: 14 February 1845.4,2
Birth place: Pendleton County, Virginia, The 1850 census is the only one that reported he was born in Pendleton County, yet this would be correct as Highland County was not formed until 1847.1 The 1860 census and the marriage and death records for Jeremiah all recorded Highland County as his birthplace. This indicates that he was born in that part of southern Pendleton County that helped form Highland County in 1847 from the southern part of Pendleton County and the northern part of Bath County.2,4,5
Jeremiah married Mary Ann Johns on 25 February 1866 in Lewis County, West Virginia.2
At age 91, Jeremiah died on 23 February 1936 at Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia. He was in the county infirmary at the time; cause of death was lobar pneumonia.4 His body was interred on 26 February 1936 in the Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, his death certificate does not identify the cemetery or even a county.4

Father: Emmett Bryan Wright
Mother: Margaret B. Stump
Birth date: 13 November 1880

Cloid's first marriage was to Bertha Irene Flint, daughter of Joseph Madison Flint and Sally Catherine Davis, on 27 August 1899 in Calhoun County, West Virginia. William A. Kerby, a minister of the gospel, certified that he united them in marriage at the residence of the bride's father.3
On 6 April 1917, the United States declared war on Germany and officially entered World War I. Every male living within the U.S. between the ages of 18 and 45 was required to register for the draft during one of three separate registration periods. The third registration was held on 12 September 1918 for men aged 18 to 21 and 31 to 45. At age 38, Cloid registered in Tucumcari, Quay County, New Mexico, and was described as follows: medium height and build, brown eyes, black hair, right eye out. His registration was dated September 7th, five days before the official date.1 He was a farmer and was living at Bard, New Mexico.1
His second marriage was to Rachel Summers, daughter of Anderson T. Elliott and Mary Kelly, on 10 October 1921 at Grantsville, Calhoun County, West Virginia. Floyd W. Dick, pastor of the M. E. Church South in Grantsville, certified that he united the couple in marriage. Both parties were recorded as divorced; Rachel was still using the surname of her second husband.2 He became a widower at age 42 when Rachel died on 23 January 1923.4
Cloyd's third marriage was to Elva M. Ball on 10 September 1924 at Sutton, Braxton County, West Virginia. Geo. H. Rector, a minister of the gospel, certified that he united them in marriage.5 At the time of his death, Cloyd was an electrician and mechanic.6
At age 56, Cloyd died on 10 December 1936 at Burnsville, Braxton County, West Virginia.6 He was interred on 12 December 1936 in the Copen Cemetery, Copen, Braxton County, West Virginia.6

Another spelling of Mary's surname is Kelley, which is the spelling that was predominantly used by her parents and in the marriage record for her brother, William. At this point I don't know if she preferred to use the "Kelly" spelling or if it's just a coincidence that record after record used that spelling for her.2

Evert C. White1,2
ID#2749, b. January 1898, d. 16 June 1941
Father: James F. White.1
Mother: Bertha E. Newell.
Birth date: January 1898.1,2 It should be noted that Ancestry.com's transcription of the 1900 census record shows the month as Jun rather than Jan. However, by comparing other entries on the same sheet, it can be seen that the enumerator abbreviated January as Jan but added an "e" to spell out June to eliminate confusion. Therefore, I believe that even though the cursive handwriting looks more like a "u" than an "a" the absence of an "e" means that the month reported was January.
Birth place: Calhoun County, West Virginia.2
Evert married Mapel Keith on 26 December 1924 in Roane County, West Virginia. H. C. Eise...(?), a minister, certified that he united them in marriage at the residence of Mary Keith.2
At age 43, Evert died on 16 June 1941 at Huntington, Wayne County, West Virginia.3
